FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Can I bring my own Side-by-side to take your Tour?

    Unfortunately, we do not offer that option at this time.

  • How old must I be to Drive the Side-by-side?

    You must be at least 18 years of age to Drive and have a valid driver's license to drive our Side by Sides.

  • Do we need to wear helmets?

    Helmets and Eye Protection (Provided by Fisher's Off-Road) are required to ride our Side by Sides.

  • What is your Ride Cancellation Policy?

    At Fisher’s Off-Road Tours, we understand that plans can change. However, to ensure a smooth experience for all our customers and to maintain the quality of our services, we have implemented the following cancellation policy:


    1. Cancellation Timeline:


    • Cancellations Made 7+ Days Before the Ride:  

    Full refund or the option to reschedule your ride without a fee.

    • Cancellations Made 2–6 Days Before the Ride: 

    Rescheduling is allowed without a fee. Refunds will incur a 10% cancellation charge.

    • Cancellations Made Less Than 48 Hours Before the Ride:

    No refund will be issued. Rescheduling may be offered at our discretion, subject to availability.


    2. No-Shows:


    Failure to arrive on time for your scheduled ride will result in forfeiture of the ride and no refund.


    3. Weather Policy:


    Rides will proceed rain or shine. However, in the event of severe or unsafe weather conditions, Fisher’s Off-Road Tours reserves the right to reschedule rides for safety reasons. In such cases, customers will be offered the choice to reschedule or receive a full refund.  See our Inclement Weather Policy for more information.


    4. How to Cancel or Reschedule:


    All cancellations or rescheduling requests must be submitted via phone/email/website and confirmed by our team to be valid.


    5. Non-Refundable Fees:


    Gift card purchases are non-refundable but may be transferred to another individual or used toward a future ride.

  • Do you offer Transportation to and from the Hotel?

  • General Rules:

    Absolutely NO alcohol or drugs permitted when Driving our Side by Sides.  If you do the Winery Tour, we suggest designating someone as the DD for your Ride/Tour.  Obey any and ALL traffic laws.  While driving the Side by Sides, please be courteous to other vehicles and horseback riders on the roads/trails.  Pull to the side of the road/trail to allow the vehicle or horses to pass. Stay 2-3 unit lengths away from the Side-by-side in front of you. Stay on designated roads/trails. Do not enter onto private property or driveways and stay out of off-road parks.


    *There is a $150 Retrieval Fee if Fisher's Off-Road needs to come pick up the Side-by-side due to driver negligence.  If you wreck your Side by Side or hit another vehicle due to negligence, or lay it on its side or upside down, driver automatically agrees to pay the $1500 damage deductible to Fisher's Off-Road Tours.

  • Will I be riding with anyone else in my side by side?

    We require a minimum of two people per side by side but they will hold up to four people.  As long as you have two people, you will have the side by side to yourself for the ride.

  • Can I drive the side by side and can we take turns driving?

    Yes.  You drive the side by side and follow our guide.  You are more than welcome to take turns driving with anyone that is at least 18 years old and shows a valid driver’s license at check in.

  • Will there be any stops for breaks during the ride?

    Yes.  Our guides stop two to three times for five to ten minutes each for everyone to stretch their legs, grab a bite to eat or snap a few pictures. This is also a great time to switch up drivers if you choose to do so.

  • Do I have to have experience to drive the side by side?

    No.  As a matter of fact, 90% of our guests are first time drivers/riders in a side by side.  We do not do anything extreme nor do we have any big hill climbs or thick mud to get you in trouble.

  • What should I wear for the ride?

    We recommend wearing dark colored clothing that you don’t mind getting dirty or wet.  It’s also a great idea to wear light weight clothing that can dry easily as most people do get wet.  Some will bring a change of clothes to change into after the ride and/or towel to sit on in their vehicle for the ride home.

  • Do you cancel for Rain?

    We only cancel if there is thunder & lightning and/or flooding in our area.  This is for the safety of all of our guests.  We will let you know within 24 hours if there is a cancelled ride and issue a full refund or the option to change your reservation to another date/time. We actually love some rain as it keeps the dust down and makes the creek crossings that much more FUN! Please see our Inclement Weather Cancellation Policy for additional details

  • Do you offer a Military Discount?

    Yes. To show our appreciation to those that keep us free, we offer 15% off to United States military/veterans. This discount applies to a spouse as well. Military ID must be presented to receive this discount. Please call #615-730-3220 to make a reservation with this discount.

  • Do you offer Group Discounts?

    We do offer discounts for ten or more people on one reservation.  Please give us a call for information on discounts available.

  • Inclement Weather Cancellation Policy

    At Fisher's Off-Road Tours, safety is our top priority. While we operate rain or shine to ensure our customers have an unforgettable adventure, certain severe weather conditions may require us to modify, reschedule, or cancel rides. Below is our detailed policy regarding inclement weather:


    1. Company-Initiated Cancellations:


    • If Fisher's Off-Road Tours determine weather conditions (e.g., severe storms, flooding, high winds, or other unsafe conditions) make it unsafe to proceed with a scheduled ride, we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule the ride.
    • Customers will be notified as soon as possible via phone/email/text message.
    • For company-initiated cancellations, customers will be offered the following options:

    •  Reschedule: Priority booking for a future date.
    •  Full Refund: A full refund of the ride price issued promptly.

    2. Customer-Initiated Cancellations Due to Weather Concerns:


    • Customers may cancel due to inclement weather if Fisher's Off-Road Tours has not officially canceled the ride. In this case, the following terms apply:

    •  Cancellations Made More Than 24 Hours Before the Ride: Rescheduling is allowed without a fee, or a refund may be issued minus a 10% cancellation fee.
    •  Cancellations Made Less Than 24 Hours Before the Ride: No refund will be issued. Rescheduling may be allowed at the company's discretion.

    3. Ride Proceeding in Mild Weather Conditions:


    • Rides will proceed in light rain, cold temperatures, or similar mild weather conditions. Refunds or rescheduling will not be offered for customer cancellations in these circumstances.

    4. Non-Refundable Fees:


    • Gift card purchases and deposits are non-refundable but may be applied to a rescheduled ride if the weather impacts the original booking.

    5. Communication and Updates:


    • We monitor weather conditions closely and will make every effort to provide timely updates.
    • Customers are encouraged to contact us directly at 615-730-3220 with any questions regarding weather-related concerns.
